NOTD: Matte Crush

Placing a little online order from Boots last week, I ended up adding a couple of extra items to my basket to qualify for free collection from instore; one of them was Barry M's Nail Paint in 'Crush', from their A/W Matte Collection. I posted about 'Mocha' a while ago and was really impressed with the formula, so I had been looking forward to picking up a couple more shades and this was the perfect opportunity! The formula of 'Crush' wasn't quite so smooth, and I found it went on quite patchy with the first coat, although the second coat neatened everything up nicely and dried reasonably quickly to a gorgeous, matte finish. I do find that the matte finish of these polishes (and indeed, every matte I've tried) tends to wear off after a couple of days, but there's no denying this is a gorgeous shade. Below you can see two coats over OPI's Nail Envy, with no top coat; I apologise for the photos, it's so dark at the moment! The photos with flash show the colour quite nicely, but I also included the bottom right one without flash just for reference.
Barry M Matte Crush NOTD
'Crush' is available from Boots, Superdrug or direct from Barry M, priced at £3.99 for 10ml of product.
What do you think of 'Crush'? Do you like matte nail polishes, or do you prefer the "traditional" glossy finish?
