Scrapbooking

This is something a little different, but something I've been meaning to share for a few weeks now; I've started a scrapbook this year as I really want a kind of record of what I get up to, I think it'll be really lovely to look back on in years to come. I ordered my scrapbook off eBay as I found pretty much the perfect one; the one I have is £10.95 for the A4 size here if you like the look of it - you can choose what you want it to say on the front, I just went for the year so that I can add to it as time goes on! I've added the lace ribbon and little dots of glitter so far, but I plan to add more to the front cover as the year goes on, to really personalise it. I'm half-planning to do some kind of collage on the back, too, but I'm not sure about that yet! Inside I've really just covered my recent trip to Milan so far; I ordered a load of photos and have spent a few evenings with my friend working on our scrapbooks, putting things into chronological order and adding in receipts, tickets and whatnot. (Please ignore any mistakes in my attempts at Italian!) I'm really pleased with the way it's coming together and I'm looking forward to adding in more of my adventures as the year goes on! I've been using a lot of washi tape to add accents to my pages, you can see my post on five uses for washi tape if you'd like some more ideas for ways to use pretty tapes! I was also recently very kindly sent this roll of stickers* from Born Pretty Store which I've added in to this page; I know it's in French and the page is about Italy, but I think it looks really nice and I'll definitely be adding it to other pages - I might even pop one on the front cover, who knows!?
