My skin has been very temperamental of late; I'm not sure whether it's just hormonal breakouts, or whether I've had a bit of a reaction with some skincare I've been trying, but either way my skin has been the worst it's been in years - oily, sensitive and covered in spots. Lovely - I don't think! Having picked up an Origins gift set containing three of their masks in the January sales, I've been using the Clear Improvement® mask two or three times per week lately, and (spoiler alert!) have seen a massive difference in my skin!

I've been using the Clear Improvement® mask of a morning, starting by cleansing my skin and then holding a warm, damp flannel over my face for a few seconds to open my pores, before applying a thin layer all over my face. The mask is easy to spread over the skin, feels cooling once on, and dries quite quickly; you can see little dots appear where the pores are as it draws out the oils and impurities, which is really satisfying to watch! After ten minutes or so I then hop in the shower to wash it off, and once I'm out I apply my toner and moisturiser as usual. I find my skin feels smoother and calmer after using this, and three weeks of using it on a regular basis has seen a huge reduction in blemishes, which are smaller, less red, and fewer in number. My skin is still prone to blackheads, and nothing seems to stop those coming back unfortunately - I think it's just because I have large pores and oily skin, there's probably not much that can be done there! Overall, though, I'm really happy with the results I've seen from this mask and it's definitely one I'll continue to use on a regular basis.
![Origins Clear Improvement Mask Review]()
Origins Clear Improvement® Mask is available direct from Origins, priced at £23 for 100ml; this isn't the cheapest of face masks by any stretch of the imagination, but a little goes a long way so the generously-sized tube will last well, and for me it's well worth the price tag for the results it's achieved! Have you ever tried Origins Clear Improvement®? What's your favourite face mask for clearing up blemishes fast?
