Generally speaking I'm a bit of an early bird when it comes to bedtime - I value my sleep (read: I'm useless without it!) and tend to be tucked up in bed well before midnight. Recently, though, I've slipped into the terrible habit of turning my laptop back on when I get in from work at 10 p.m., which has led to hours upon hours mysteriously disappearing... Here are ten things I'm sure we've all found ourselves thinking at 3 a.m.:

- I'm sure it was only 11 p.m. last time I looked at the clock, like, half an hour ago?!
- I was meant to be having an early night...
- My alarm is going off in *counts* four hours. How am I going to function!?
- Why is my brain full of ideas and motivation instead of sleepiness?
- I'm hungry. I wonder if there are any chicken nuggets in the freezer...
- Did I remember to submit my mileage claim at work / feed the goldfish / lock the doors / insert other important thing here?
- I'll just finish writing this blog post...
- ...and edit this last photo...
- ...and comment on these couple of posts in my Bloglovin' feed.
- Okay let's just look at Analytics. Maybe someone's looking at my blog right now. Oh. Okay. They're not.
