NOTD | Nails Inc. 'The Tide Is High'

This little beauty was actually a freebie I picked up around a week ago; if you've seen my post on July's Magazine Freebies, you'll know that the July issue of InStyle (which is on sale during the month of June!) comes with a free full-sized Nails Inc. nail polish in one of four shades, inspired by 80s music. I went for 'The Tide is High', a gorgeous minty shade. A day off over the weekend gave me the perfect opportunity to try it out... I have to admit, these aren't quite as neat as I'd like - I'm a bit out of practice with the ol' nail polish brush!!
Photos show three coats and I'm still not 100% happy with the finish; as with many pastel nail polishes, this went on streaky with the first coat, and didn't really improve with the second, either. It's a really pretty shade and it'll look gorgeous with a tan if summer ever makes it to the UK, it's just a shame the formula lets it down a little!
